My comments:
I read this book sometime ago and really enjoyed it. In fact it was my preferred choice for WBN as I am a book giver, somehow I wasn't lucky enough to get ths one to give out. If you get a copy I throughly recommend it.
Narrated by Death it is harrowing, yet unsentimental.

I have read this twice. I am a big C McC fan (All the Pretty Horses, No Country for Old Men)
Relentlessly depressing, no let up, no chapters, the main cahracters have no names...
I really rate this book

World Book Night 2012 book.
I grabbed this on WBN as the teenagers were all going for it and I managed to chat to a few of them about it.
I really enjoyed this book. About a Vampire and followers/blood gatherers.
The title is based on the legend that vamoires cannot cross a threshold without being invited in.
Gripping from the start - what more can you ask for in this genre?
An excellent 'cast' of characters

My comments
I read this because somehow I got it as my WBN choice! it wasn't one of any of the 3 choices I made, but hey ho in true WBN ethics it made me read a book in a genre I would not usually read.
I struggled a bity with it, but unlike most historical novels I found I wasn't constantly questioning the research. I was glad I had read it when I finished and I learnt more about the period than I ever thought I needed to know!
